Chai Walli was born in a humble home kitchen, when its founder, Uppma Virdi, started brewing Ayurvedic Indian teas. So it’s funny to think that now, the same homemade tea recipe is being brewed in kitchens all around the world. Uppma’s uniqueness is her ability to balance herbs and spices for health and happiness; a skill learned from her grandfather, an Ayurvedic doctor. All Chai Walli teas are directly and ethically sourced from small batch organic and fair trade tea farms in the Assam Valley of India, where suppliers align with Chai Walli’s values and love for Ayurvedic Indian teas – just as her Grandfather would have wanted.
