Made from sustainable, biodegradable bamboo with a recyclable stainless steel spring. They’re also packaged in a recycled cardboard box. Designed in NZ, these pegs are made for harsh UV conditions whilst being gentle on clothes. Basically, they’re here for good.
Cotton and bamboo and a recyclable stainless steel spring.
Plastic. Plain and simple.
Did you know plastic clothes pegs often make their way onto beaches by falling off the line and getting flushed out to sea with stormwater. Go Bamboo clothes pegs are sturdy and strong and, unlike wooden pegs, won’t stain light-colored clothes because of bamboo’s low tannin content. In addition, plastic pegs are not recyclable and will definitely end up in landfill. So please opt for an alternative.
Designed in Gisborne, NZ & manufactured in China.
Did you know there’s a floating island of rubbish in the Pacific Ocean that’s twice the size of Texas? It was this devastating fact about our planet that drove co-founders Mick and Anna to not only reduce the use of plastic in their own lives, but help us to do so, too. They launched Go Bamboo; a range of household items that are often made of plastic. Toothbrushes, cotton buds and more were reimagined using eco-friendly materials and methods. Go Bamboo was welcomed with open arms, taking out the minimisation category in the 2012 Green Ribbon Awards, which honours outstanding contribution to protecting New Zealand’s environment.
