Did you know many commercially made baking paper is coated with Quilon, which allows the paper to be water repellency in hot or cold temperatures. Invented by DuPont in the late 1940s, Quilon is a chemical that contains the heavy metal chromium and can be quite toxic when used for baking and when disposed in landfill. If you Care's paper uses silicone from nature and therefore, compostable and landfill safe.
