Heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat, add 1 cup of rice, and fry for 1 minute.
Add 2 cups of water and cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until water has been absorbed.
Add fish sauce to taste for a bit of extra flavour. Or, serve on its own or as an accompaniment to a stir fry, meat, or fish.
Add prawns, calamari and mint to take the dish to the next level.

Loving this rice. Really nice flavours & so quick & easy to make. 1 pack feeds a family of 5 (3 teenagers included) as a side dish. 10/10.
