This premium beef tallow is firm but silky and is an everyday ingredient in many traditional cuisines. Fun fact: the word ‘schmaltz’ comes from Ashkenazi Jewish cuisine and means ‘to melt’. This tallow was schmaltzed from the suet of free-to-roam, 100% grass-fed cows and is ideal for deep frying due to its high smoke point of approx. 200 degrees.
