Nutritional Information.

Madame Tiger

“Tiger what?!” you might ask. Tiger nuts are actually not nuts at all but tubers (like sweet potatoes) which get their name from the stripes found on their exterior. Madame Tiger’s founder Laura was introduced to these small, sweet, earthy delights by her father-in-law, who grew up with them as a staple snack food in Mali, West Africa.

Inspired by her love for experimenting with weird and wonderful ingredients, she set out to create a plant-based milk with premium quality, sustainably-sourced ingredients. Instead of the seed oils and emulsifiers typically found in non-dairy milks, Madame Tiger uses Australian extra-virgin olive oil and sustainably grown faba bean protein. The organic tiger nuts are sourced from Mousso Faso, a predominantly female farming collective set up in Burkina Faso, in West Africa. There, the tiger nuts are grown using only rainwater, without pesticides or chemicals, meaning there is no known damage to soil, the land or air when farming them. So if you’re looking for an alternative to almond, soy or oat milk, take a walk on the wild side and try Madame Tiger.
