Australian Grown
300ml

Made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, aged in oak barrels, producing a deep berry/plum flavour that is pleasantly sharp. Perfect to add to salad dressings and adds flavour to soups, stocks and risotto. It is also perfect for lifting flavours when deglazing.

The benefits.

  • Assists in supporting a healthy immune system (enzymes and potassium)
  • May help to relieve a sore throat by killing bad bacteria (acetic acid)
  • May help to maintain healthy skin and aids digestion (acetic acid)

What goes in.

Red wine vinegar, preservative (220)

What's kept out.

Processed ingredients.

Did you know?

Did you know that red wine vinegar (like wine and oil) should be kept in a dark bottle? This will protect it from sunlight, which over time can turn the oil rancid. This not only destroys the all-important antioxidants; it can also trigger harmful free radicals that contribute to cell damage.

Geography.

Made in the Grampians, Victoria.

Hot tip.

Add to soups, stocks and risotto, while it's also perfect for lifting flavours when deglazing.

Mount Zero

As one of the oldest olive groves in Australia, the Mount Zero olive grove has stood the test of time. Located at the base of the Grampians northernmost summit, it’s home to 6000 Spanish Manzanilla and Gordal olive trees. Mount Zero is a family-owned-and-operated business that’s committed to flavour and quality; their values are evident in every olive, every jar. Speaking of commitment, it only harvests using biodynamic farming; a natural, eco-friendly approach to farming that avoids synthetic intervention. The grove is self-sustaining — it feeds the trees directly from the soil humus rather than chemical inputs, and the energy supply is sourced from off-grid wind and solar generators.

Great protein source

Soaked overnight and then a quick boil, drain and finish off in the oven! Great roasted, to eat as a snack or add to salads. Or boil a little longer for chickpea soup! Great nutritional value.
