Bring a Plate: Our Pantry Staple Hacks
This the season for celebrations, end-of-school break ups and work get-togethers. This means that lots of celebratory food is enjoyed too.
Contributing to a party spread fosters a sense of community and togetherness, and adds to the joy of the celebration. However, during this busy time of the year, bringing a plate of food can add stress to your already-full schedule.
Don’t worry though - we have you covered with our range of pantry staples that will help you whip up the perfect plate in no time at all.
Banana Bread Mix
Guacamole with Corn Chips
Elevate your guacamole with Church Farm’s Billinudgel Green Mojo Sauce. It’s handmade in small batches and packs a flavour punch with chargrilled capsicums and green chillies, and a hint of native lemon myrtle leaf. Enjoy with La Tortilleria’s totopos.
Lia’s Hommus Dip with Crudites
Our founder, Lia, makes a mean hummus dip and it’s super simple to recreate. Simply blend 2 cans of Ceres Organic chickpeas with1 jar of Carwari tahini, and add some cumin, salt, olive oil and a squeeze of lemon to taste. Delicious with veggie sticks or these Spiral Foods rice crackers.
Fruity Gummies
A hit with kids and adults alike, gummies take just minutes to make and offer incredible gut-healing benefits from the gelatin. Take 1 cup of 100% fruit juice (our Mt Wilder juices would be amazing) and heat gently until warm. Take off the heat and whisk in 2 tablespoons of Nutra Organics natural gelatin until smooth (you could also add some honey to sweeten). Pour into silicone moulds and allow to set in the fridge.
Church Farm’s Guacamole
