Having kids spurred Bobo&Boo founder Naomi to think about how she could minimise the toxins and chemicals in her children’s lives. This included the plates they would be eating off and the cups they would be drinking out of. Shockingly, kids’ dinnerware (especially the plastic kind) often contains BPA, PVC or phthalates, all of which can disrupt our hormones.
Naomi also wanted dinnerware that was minimalistic yet still colourful, functional and also affordable. And so Bobo&Boo was born. Made out of bamboo, a renewable and sustainable material, the range of cups, plates, bowls and bento plates are non-toxic, eco-friendly and available in a range of gorgeous colours.
