Organic pumpkin seeds.
Synthetic fertilisers and pesticides.
Did you know that most seeds are grown on commercial farms using synthetic fertilisers and harsh pesticides? Seed plants must be left in the field for as long as possible, to allow the pumpkin seeds to reach maturity before they’re harvested. But with more time, comes a higher risk of pests and disease, so farmers often rely on these chemicals to keep them at bay.
Sustainably grown in Victoria by Pepo Farms.
Great in homemade bread, cakes, and biscuits or simply sprinkled on your morning cereal.
Growing food sustainably means working with the land, instead of against it. Food, farming and community are what Pepo Farms are all about. The journey of helping Aussie farmers began by pressing and milling their nuts into oils and flours. Today, Pepo Farms have expanded their social footprint. They’re passionate about bringing together farmers, growers, producers and customers to engage in actions and dialogue that work towards a future of food security. The team at Pepo Farms believe that everyone has a right to access local produce. Achieving this means changing attitudes around the viability of small scale farms through the establishment of social enterprise businesses.

I like that these are an Australian grown product. I use them in homemade granola and breakfast bars. They have a mild taste and I am very happy with the freshness and quality.
