Hot tip.
Don't take Fermented Cod Liver Oil straight. Due to the naturally occuring lactic acid in FCLO, it can sting the back of your throat. The best way to serve is to draw out your serving with the accompanying syringe and then mixing it into about 10mls of milk or juice.
If giving to babies, draw out a small amount (eg. 1/4ml) into the accompanying syringe then draw up the same amount of water, juice of milk. Simply squirt into babies mouth..
Green Pasture
Dave and Barbara Wetzel started Green Pasture after being inspired by the work of Dr Weston A. Price, an advocate for carefully prepared traditional and sacred foods, such as organ meats, from cultures all around the world.
They used the lush and abundant pasture they had nurtured on their family farm to create their first product, concentrated butter oil. This, like many of the other animal foods promoted by Dr Price, is rich in essential fat-soluble vitamins. These fat-soluble vitamins play an integral role in the body, contributing to bone and reproductive health, and strengthening immune function. From there, their product line expanded to also include fermented cod liver oil (when combined with butter oil it greatly boosts the nutritional benefits).
