Did you know?
Did you know many commercially produced nut butters contain more than humble nuts? High amounts of sugar and salt are often added to alter the taste, but can bring with them a higher risk of diabetes, insulin resistance, water gain and high blood pressure.
Sustainably grown in Taylorville, South Australia.
Delicious to eat on its own (by the spoonful), spread on toast or used as a topper for fruit and vegetables. We highly recommend trying this product with stuffed dates, Asian dipping sauce, salad dressings or smoothie bowls.
The Almond Farmer
Dennis and Pam Casaretto, together with son Jarrad, are nuts about all things almond! After first growing almonds on their property, they decided, in 2003, to start a full time commercial farming operation to share the health benefits and versatility of almonds. They now grow, hand sort, carefully select and process the almonds on their farm located in South Australia’s Taylorville, on the iconic Murray River. Equally passionate about sustainable farming and protecting the environment, they focus on permaculture practices (such as using spiders rather than insecticides to manage pests) and use biodegradable and recyclable materials for some of their packaging.
With the ideal climate for producing high-quality, tasty almonds, the family is proud to offer premium farm-fresh products to Aussie pantries.
