What is Tulsi?
It's Officially Tea Season!
As we head into winter, there’s nothing better on a chilly night than sipping on a steaming hot cup of tea. At P&P, we have an amazing range of of teas, available in both loose leaf and bags.
We consider several important factors when sourcing our tea brands.
Quality ingredients, crafted with care
All of our teas contain only certified organic ingredients, which means that they are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers. Mayde Tea‘s ingredients are grown in harmony with nature and all of their teas are hand blended to create the perfect combination of flavours and aromas.
Fair trade
Love Tea sources the majority of their ingredients directly from the growing communities and cooperatives who produce them, with their ultimate goal to have every relevant component in their supply chain sourced as a fair trade minimum.
Therapeutic
Organic India uses tulsi (which is also known as holy basil or Mother Medicine of Nature) in all of its blends. It’s high in antioxidants, immune-supporting and adaptogenic, which means that it helps the body cope with stressors.
Sustainable
Mayde Tea strives to make products that are recyclable, refillable, compostable, and/or reusable.
Love Tea uses biodegradable and completely home-compostable packaging - their boxes are made from post-consumer recycled cardboard, their clear pouches from a plant-based material called Natureflex and their pyramid tea bags from a plant-based material called Soilon. They are also dedicated to donating 1% of annual revenues to a range of environmental organisations as part of our commitment to 1% for the Planet.
Organic India are now officially recognised as being Regenerative Organic Certified®. This means that they work with their farmers to replenish the soil, improve biodiversity, enhance water conservation and increase the amount of carbon that’s removed from the earth’s atmosphere.
